Peter Ling

I grew up in Pacific Palisades, CA and studied computer science at Stanford, where I watched AI reshape everyday life and became obsessed with what could be built at the application layer. While I'm fascinated by the technical intricacies that drive these systems, I've found myself even more interested in how people from all kinds of backgrounds actually use them, not just the AI enthusiasts I was surrounded by.

That focus on the people using what I build is what I want to keep at the center of my work as an engineer. At Adaptive Innovations, I talk to and shadow nurses, then turn their frustrations and feedback into product features. Owning that loop end-to-end is what excites me most — seeing the real impact of my work pushes me to continuously improve the user experience.
